Upcoming Changes to the Music Catalog and the availability of CD & Vinyl soon

This is to inform you all of some significant changes and exciting developments regarding the music catalog. In the near future, both "The Hex Sessions" and "The Envy Sessions" will be removed from all streaming platforms. This is give way to the introduction of "Arete Deluxe Edition," which I am planning to release in the fall or perhaps sooner.

The forthcoming "Arete Deluxe Edition" will include the original EP, complemented by the finest picks from the session releases. These selections will be based on data-driven insights reflecting the most frequently replayed tracks of the session releases. Each piece will be remastered and released in multiple formats including VINYL, CD, and of course, Streaming Services. 

While I will be removing the session releases from streaming platforms, they will remain available as digital downloads on both the Angershade.com website and the Bandcamp platform. At present, I do not have plans to remove them from these sites. However, please note that if you have saved these tracks in your playlists or libraries from streaming services, they will no longer be accessible. I strongly recommend backing up any purchased tracks, do not contact me on how to do this, consult your streaming service provider.

Why am I making these changes? Simply put, the session releases mentioned above have not been receiving enough attention warranting the cost of keeping them live on the streaming services, with listeners generally gravitating towards only two or three specific tracks. Furthermore, I am gradually distancing my operations from Soundcloud, the distributor for these two releases. This initiative represents a crucial step in that direction. While I cannot share the full details of this transition at the moment, I will provide more information in a future post.

"The Isolation Sessions" will remain unaffected, as it continues to receive substantial listens and is distributed by my official distributor Distrokid. Nonetheless, I have selected three standout tracks two from this collection, and one cut from it, to be feature on the deluxe edition, available for streaming and possibly on the CD version.  Due to the constraints of Vinyl production, these particular tracks from "The Isolation Sessions" will not be included in the vinyl release of the deluxe edition.   More on this when it’s officially released.

Why VINYL, CD, and why now? While there has been considerable demand for these formats, it hasn't warranted the bulk production of CDs and Records. Now, I have partnered with a distributor capable of print-on-demand services, eliminating the need for me to stockpile physical copies.  I’ve been waiting for this, and now it’s here.

For Vinyl lovers, I am offering both a picture disc version and a traditional black version of the deluxe edition. As for CDs, I will release one version of the deluxe edition. Each format will feature the original artwork and credits, as envisioned since its release in 2019. There will be no additions or edits, only a reformatting of the existing content.  It looks beautiful I assure you all.  

I am truly excited to finally present this release to you in these tangible formats. Those of you wanting this have been waiting long enough, and I thank you for your patients and on going support.

UPDATE on new material:  

I have no plans for a new album anytime soon but however I am writing a lot of new music, when I feel I have enough to warrant an album I will start the focus on that.  Until then I assure I am writing a lot of music thats all I can say about that.
